A wise man will hear *Wednesday Bible Study*

Proverbs Chapter 1:1-11

Topic Verse: A wise man will hear, and will increase learning: and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels.

Key verse: verse 3: To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgement, and equity:

Objective verses: 4, 6-11

verse 4: To give subilty to the simple to the young man knowledge and discretion.

verse 6 - 11: 6 To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings. 7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. 8 My son, hear the instruction of thy father and, forsake not the law of thy mother: 9 For they shall be an orniment of grace unto thy head, and chains about thy neck. 10 my son, if sinners entice thee consent thou not. 11 If they say, come with us, let us lay wait for blood, let us lurk privily for the innocent without cause: 

As your parents taught you right from wrong it became up to you to heed to their teachings. My children have all been told to help where ever needed, my daughter had an under classmate to die and she is now helping the school raise money for the family to help with any financial drain that they maybe , expersing. She has dedicated her lunch period to this cause. If you teach your children to be a positive roll model in society and to always keep in mind it could be you in that situation. This is the same child of mine that struggles socially with whom to call friend.

This is a road map to obtain wisdom; and to encourage continually to learn and to seek wise counsels.
