Isaiah 35

VERSE 4 – Say to them that are of a fearful heart, be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you. KJV

If I were to give this chapter a title I would say “Are you truly ready for the Judgement of God”?

Go and gather those people who have wronged you or you haven’t forgiven for whatever reason. In most cultures they set up a big dinner or brunch and invite the person or persons over for a feast and they would sit and talk about their ought that they may have against each other.

In most cases we try to handle the situation ourselves and when it gets too hard to resolve the confrontation then we go running to God to fix it. Now wait look at this way. This is us. Hey God hold on I got it, few minutes later. Okay God I made it worse now you can handle it. We do not realize how much easier it is to just allow God to care of all of our cares.

Here the writer wants you to know that God is coming to save you and he will come with vengeance (punishment, revenge, retaliation, retribution, payback and satisfaction) even with a way to make amends and he will save you. What a mighty God we serve. He is capable of handling our day to day stuff our ups and our downs. No need to sweat the hard stuff, sure we come to him with the things that we are in dire need of when it is due (BILLS, HEALTH OF A LOVE ONE), but never talk about our relationships with that sister or brother; nor do we proclaim the intent of where we would like the relation to go. What do you mean? Your spouse did you know you can speak life into the relationship by telling God where you would like to see your relationship blossom in to. Same can be said for all your relationships. I dare you to try it. God concerns himself with you because he is a caring understanding great and powerful God.
